Recently I was reading a what's app post on different specialities of every Indian State where Bengal was admired for Its literature and Music 🎶 whereas Maharashtra adored by saying history and Victory.....
It pleased my my heart ♥ because we Marathi People are very much connected to our History.... And The complete India Knows it very well... Our first chief minister Yashwantrao Chavhan used to say that All states have geography but Maharashtra has history as well....
For us History means King Shivaji Saint Dnyaneshwar Ahilyadevi Rani Zansi Peshwa Bajirao ... Panipat N sooo much we have In our mind....
But History of Great Hindu King 👑 Chhatrpati Shivaji is very much closer to everyone's heart as compared to the other parts of Maratha History.... Shivaji is Having a special corner inside every Marathi's Heart... Even if he's Brahmin or Dalit Or let it be from any caste.....
King 👑 Shivaji Has incontestable acceptance or rule on every Maharashtrian's Heart..... Dalit's were harassed for many years in Maharashtra but Dr. Ambedkar Dalit Emancipator... Has also never criticized King Shivaji and His Hindu Dharma.. As he is called as HINDAVI SWARAJYA SANSTHAPAK..... And his regime and the Kshtriya Dharma is never criticized by even dalits......
We Marathi people never bothered about history exam.. Especially for learning years of different events in history...... Now after 8 years of my matriculation I Remember 10 plus years of main historic events.. Viz....
1275/45 1630 1674 1680 1689 1700 1707 1717 1719 1739 1761 1762 1803 1818 1797 1857 1848 1891 1920 1956 1966
These are the most important years of Maratha History and many battles births and deaths of warrior occurred between these years...
